This past Sunday, September 21, 2025, our amazing PLC Youth Group enjoyed a perfect afternoon of fellowship and fun in Santa Monica. Led by Coach Mike & Pastor Martin Lee, 10 enthusiastic youth and teens embarked on a memorable outing that combined sweet treats with fresh ocean air.
The group started their adventure at Yogurtland in the Santa Monica Promenade, where everyone enjoyed customized frozen yogurt creations. Fueled by sugary goodness, they then made their way down to the iconic Santa Monica Pier Boardwalk.
There, they spent time soaking up the beautiful California sunshine and strolled to the end of the pier to take in the breathtaking ocean views. The waves were perfect that day, providing not only a gorgeous backdrop for photos but also a moment of reflection on God’s magnificent creation.
After enjoying their time at the pier, the group challenged themselves to a spirited race back up the hill from the boardwalk (with plenty of laughter and encouragement along the way). Despite the steep climb, everyone’s spirits remained high with laughter and kid jokes.
These youth outings are more than just fun activities—they’re opportunities for our young people to strengthen bonds, create lasting memories, and grow together in faith and friendship. We’re already looking forward to our next adventure!
