Psalm 91 (KJV)
In Psalm 91, I find God as my divine protector who offers me refuge, safety, and deliverance when I trust in Him and dwell in His presence.
As I read Psalm 91, I see lessons about protection and care that I can apply to church management. As an Operations Manager, I should create a safe and supportive workplace for everyone – including staff, volunteers, and church members. I serve to ensure our church office has good systems to keep things running smoothly. I also believe it’s important to provide our church workers and volunteers with the right training, resources and spiritual support so we all work in alignment to fulfill what God has called us to do.

Proverbs 22:6
This Bible verse says “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Simply put, this means that teaching children good habits early on helps them grow into responsible adults.
I’m a Youth Basketball Coach who has worked with young players in Southern California for over 15 years. I believe in the message of Proverbs 22:6 and use it in my coaching. My goal is to help kids grow not just as basketball players, but as people. I create a positive environment where kids learn important life skills like working together and staying focused. Through my coaching, I’ve helped many young players develop good habits that help them in all areas of life. Now, as Youth Director at Palisades Lutheran Church, I want to teach these same important life lessons.
