Exciting Transformations Underway
After nearly six hours of dedicated work, we made significant progress in organizing items into three categories: things to keep, things to give away, and things to discard. Here are some of the exciting changes happening:
- The stage area, which has been a blessing over the years, is being repurposed as our future Health and Fitness Center for all ages. We’ve removed the curtain (with the donor’s permission) to begin this transformation.
- The preschool hall with cubbies has been cleaned out and will soon house lockers for our youth. God willing, we envision future men’s and women’s locker rooms in this space.
- The former preschool supply closet is being repurposed for our LEAD Education teachers and proctors who offer tutoring and testing programs.
- The old Preschool Director’s office is being cleaned and repurposed for ministry needs.
- The room across from the bathrooms, which has stored preschool materials since the fire, will be cleared to securely house A/V equipment and other valuable items.
- The music storage area behind the chancel wall will soon be cleaned and made available for our music director.
We’re excited to see God’s plan unfolding as we create dedicated spaces for our youth to grow in faith and fellowship!
